"Cape Sata, the southernmost tip of mainland Kyushu, has a wonderful starry sky. There is a lighthouse there, the first one built in 1871. I captured the Milky Way rising above the lighthouse and the Perseid meteor shower falling on it. This is a composite photograph. The same night, same location, but with a foreground shot in the blue hour and a slight tripod shift to capture the Milky Way and shooting stars. The Milky Way was stacked and enhanced in Pixinsight and combined with the foreground in Photoshop. Starnet , Topaz DeNoize AI and RC-ASTRO BlurXTerminator were used in the retouching process."
